Peppa Pig’s mum, best known as Mummy Pig, has announced that she is pregnant with her third piglet.
The voice of Mummy Pig told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “I’m excited to share that our family is getting even bigger because we’re having another baby.”
Morwenna explained that Mummy Pig is “due in the summer”.
The animated show has told the story of Peppa, who lives with Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, and her little brother George for more than twenty years.
So the arrival of a new sibling will be the first big change to the Pig family in the show’s history.
